Skål’s client, Edrington Spirit, wanted to do something completely unique and creative for his company’s new product launch. He asked for something unpredictable and memorable so that both the company and the product would be remembered for years to come. To match that generous budget, they also had high expectations.
After listening to the client’s needs, we created a signature Mystery Night event! We designed an invitation that was sent to a select group of employees from Stockholm who were only given a date to reserve and a clue about the evening. Every week, these individuals received one clue about their upcoming night out and the final clue revealed the meeting place and time. On the night of the event, the group met at a popular intersection and their adventure began.
Skål organized the launch and the mystery night tour of unrevealed stops. First, we made arrangements with the owner of a local patio and bar for a private night learning to make cocktails. The client’s new product was whiskey-based so the bartender introduced the group to some whiskey cocktails. Then everyone learned how to use the product to create a variety of their own tasty creations. Skål planned a dinner at Farang, a South East Asian restaurant. Then, the group was instructed to “follow the man with the rainbow umbrella to their next destination” where we had arranged for an Escape Room! By then it was 11pm, but the fun continued as Skål had reserved space at Sturecompaniet, a popular nightclub in the centre of Stockholm! By that time many of the happily exhausted team members had departed, but the ‘tough’ ones stayed up dancing until sunrise.
The client, and those who attended, were all happily surprised at each mystery venue they experienced throughout the evening.
