Client’s Request:
Shana Hoy, the senior event manager for Husch Blackwell, contacted me to assist them with the logistics, planning and execution of their offsite company retreat in Boulder Colorado. There were many lay-offs and new hires during the pandemic for these real estate attorneys. Shana wanted to create a fun and memorable team building getaway since most of the employees were working off-site and had never met. She wanted this event to be an opportunity for the 50 team members to meet, connect and collaborate.
Results:
Skål Celebrations designed a unique 2 day adventure for these lawyers to experience Boulder while networking at the same time. The group went on a scenic bike and brews tour, explored nature with a forest bathing therapist, and enjoyed afternoon tea at the Dushanbe tea house. Skål also hired a band for their lovely dinner on the St Julien terrace, organized a lively and competitive game of Trivia at Avanti, and coordinated morning Yoga for those interested. The team at Husch Blackwell were very grateful for Skål’s resourcefulness in creating an exciting and safe corporate retreat for them, in Boulder, Colorado.
